About the Doctor

Dr. Chappell was born in Savannah, GA. He attended and graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, with a B.S. degree in Chemistry. He graduated from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. After completing his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Eisenhower Medical Center in Augusta, GA, he did his cardiology training at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, DC.

Dr. Chappell had the honor of serving as a physician in the United States Army. After completing his military service Dr. Chappell returned to his home state of Georgia. He relocated to Statesboro, GA, and opened Southeastern Cardiovascular Associates in December 2000.
